Obituary
It is with heavy hearts and extreme devastation that we announce the passing of our beloved son and brother, Douglas Roy Kilmury on December 5, 2021 at the age of 50 years. Doug was a very special person to everyone who knew him. He’ll forever live in the hearts of his mother Margaret Thiessen of High River, sister Laurie Kilmury of Calgary, his dear jack russell River as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Doug was predeceased by his baby sister Debbie, father Walter, sister Wanda and grandparents: Vi & Earl Kilmury and Alex & Peggy Hogg and his uncle Alex G. Hogg. “We will miss the passion that you had for not only sports, but animals, family, friends, and life. We will remember you for your fabulous sense of humour, sarcasm, kind loving spirit, and above all else, the way you left lifelong impressions on all of us” -Forever Loved and Never forgotten (Dannica, Lyndon, D). Following Doug’s wishes, there will be no funeral. A celebration of his life will be announced at a later date. Doug would have wanted us to lift each other up and remain strong during this tragic loss. We love you Doug. Rest in peace!
