Peacefully with his family by his side at the Temiskaming District Hospital on Monday, June 28, 2021, Douglas John “Doug” Hill of Haileybury passed away at the age of 73. Loving husband of Rita Huard for 17 years . Beloved father of Chris Hill (Kristalie Hearn) and Sherry Hill-Laporte (Trae Laporte). Survived by his grandchildren Matthew, Maverick, Mason and Kai. Dear brother of Paula Hill (Chris Ingram). Forever remembered by many extended family members and friends. Cremation has taken place at Lakeview Crematorium, Haileybury. Arrangements entrusted to Buffam Leveille Funeral Home, 705-672-3122. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations may be made to Community Cancer Care or The Kidney Foundation.
