Obituary of Dorothy Patricia McLean
The passing of Dorothy Patricia McLean of Boiestown, NB, occurred on November 8, 2021 at the Central New Brunswick Nursing Home. Born on September 18, 1933 in Ripples, NB, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Margaret (Marsh) McLean. Dorothy was a member of Abundant Life Church in Doaktown.
Dorothy is survived by her daughters, Sharon Arbeau (Lyman) of Doaktown, Coleen Peterson (Winslow) of Blackville, Paulette Hunter (Patty Gillespie) of Miramichi; sons, Merlin Hunter (Elizabeth) of Grand Prairie, Edward Hunter of Astle, Phillip Hunter (Cheryl) of Prince Georg; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters Naida Oickle of Barrie, Donna McLean of Barrie, Sarah Marsh of Chipman; several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she wasp predeceased by her husband, Harold Hunter; son, Erosell Hunter; sisters, Lillian Hunter, Helen Maston, Florence MacBeth; brothers, Lloyd McLean, Clayton McLean.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the loving care of York Funeral Home’s Miramichi Valley Chapel. Visitation will take place at Abundant Life Church, 583 Main Street, Doaktown on Sunday, November 14, 2021 from 2-4 pm. (Proof of Vaccination, ID and Masks are required at the church). A Graveside Service will take place in Astle Community Cemetery on Monday, November 15 at 2 pm (Masks Required). For those who wish, remembrances may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
