Obituary of Donna Marie Roach
ROACH, Donna M.
Donna Marie Roach (nee Molyneaux), age 72, passed away peacefully in the Palliative Care Unit of the Aberdeen Hospital, on June 17, 2021. Donna was born in Charlottetown, PEI where she lived until she was 8 years old before moving to Pictou where she lived out her life. In her earlier days she loved to bake cookies, squares and fantastic cakes for her children’s birthdays. She always had her hands in flour or butter preparing some tasty treats. She was always helping to prepare supper in her later years, listening to music, dancing with her walker and watching her favorite television shows. Donna had a heart of gold and a strong will, she was a fighter right up to the end. She was predeceased by her parents, Rose (Muir) and Leo Molyneaux; brothers, Kevin and Robert and sister, Paula. She was the last survivor of her immediate family. She will be missed by her sons, Troy, Chad; daughter, Shelley; grandchildren, Brianna (Josh). Ryan (Shelby), Jacob Roach; and close family friend, Gary Richard. When Donna fell ill her angels at the V.O.N. came in every day to help her. The family would like to give a special thanks to the V.O.N. and Palliative care nurses for the incredible care you gave her. Donations in Donna’s memory may be made to the Aberdeen Palliative Care society.
“You have your wings Mama, Nanners and Nan Fly High with the angels.”
