Donald James Stevens
August 28, 1943 – August 24, 2021
It is with great sadness to announce the sudden death of Donald J.Stevens, 77, of East Preston, who passed away peacefully at home on August 24, 2021. Donald was the son of Winnifred and the late James Stevens of Dartmouth. Donald worked as a mechanic at various garages in Halifax and Dartmouth for many years. He was a popular and talented mechanic working on the cars of the 50’s, 60’s to current. He had many loyal customers over the years of his career and many friends in the car world. He enjoyed going to car shows to see the old classics and antiques with his friends Herman and Murray. Donald is survived by his mother, Winnifred Stevens, his sisters Linda, Joanne, Beverly and two nephews Robert and James in Ontario. He is predeceased by his father James Stevens and sister, Carole. Cremation has already taken place and there will be no visitation. A service will be held at a later date.
