BROWN, Donald Dwight
Donald Brown died peacefully at Cassellholme, North Bay, on Monday, August 23, 2021. He was 92 years old. Don was predeceased by his wife Muriel Irene (Payne) (1932-2020). He was the beloved father of Lisa Krause (Alvin) of Powassan, and was predeceased by his daughter Karen Brown. Don will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Sheena (Andrew Besseau), Brandon, Shelby and Nathaniel; and great-grandchildren Hudson and Charlotte. Don was the dear brother of James Brown (Betty) of Ottawa and was predeceased by his siblings Dorothy, Edith, Doreen, Lloyd, Ernie and Keeble. The family will receive visitors at the Paul Funeral Home, Powassan, on Friday, September 3, 2021 from 6 to 8 pm, and on Saturday, September 4 from 1 to 2 pm, with the Funeral Service beginning at 2 pm in the chapel. The service will also be live streamed – please see link below. Interment will follow at Holiness Cemetery, Powassan. Please note that COVID-19 protocols will be enforced. Masks must be worn and physical distancing required.
