God has gained another angel.
It is with great sadness that the family announces the death of Diane Jacqueline Mortson 72, on June 30, 2021 at the Credit Valley Hospital.
Diane has now joined her beloved husband Ken (Kenneth) after 17 years without him by her side. She was the devoted mother of Adam and Aaron Mortson, cherished Granny of Kaleb, Joshua and Konrad Mortson, big sister of Beverly Black, the late Harold Donaldson and Sylvia (Leslie) Kovacs and a second mother to a lucky many. She will be sadly missed by her family, best friend Heather Kilgour, niece Jessica, Mark for whom she had a special place in her heart, and the countless friends and neighbours fortunate enough to have crossed her path.
A private funeral will take place at Turner and Porter, Yorke Chapel. A celebration of her Life will be held at a future date where family and friends can share their memories of Diane. The family would like to thank the kind nurses and staff at Credit Valley Hospital. If desired, donations to the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation would be appreciated by Diane’s family.
