Obituary
Tragically, as the result of a medical incident during the course of his work, on Tuesday, February 9, 2021. Derry Maurice Rankin of Napanee at age 59. Beloved husband of Sue Rankin (Howes) and dear father of Douglas (Amy) and Shannon Nibourg (Frank) of Napanee. Grandfather of Jacob and Tyler Nibourg and Owen and Drew Rankin. Brother to Roger, John and Rob. Son of Carol Rankin (the late Maurice Rankin) and the late Betty Miller. Son-in-law of Leen Sonneveld and the late Maria Sonneveld and brother-in-law to Leenita, Debbie and Rick. A private family gathering will be held on Saturday, February 13, followed by cremation. A public Celebration of His Life will be held later this year when conditions for gatherings are more favorable, to be announced. Memorial donations made to the Lennox and Addington County Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family. In the care of Hannah Funeral Home, in Napanee.
