Dennis Albert Houle (Standing Thunder Bird/ Benisi-Gaahboh) was born August 2, 1960 into a family of 12 siblings. He was predeceased By his father: Joseph Houle; mother: Annie (Malcolm) Houle; his siblings Anthony, Michael, Martin, Julian, Darren and one sister Muriel; His daughter Denise Gabriel; grandchildren Sky, Jaden and Emily; he is survived by his wife Gail Valiquette; his children: Quentin Gabriel, Kathy (Frank) Matias, Francine (Jeremy) Jeffery , and Antonia Valiquette; Siblings: Donald (Maxine) Houle, Gordon (Shelia) Houle , John Houle, Cathy (Curtis) Mousseau, Louanne Houle, Earl James (Marianne) Houle , Teresa Houle, and Numerous Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins
Dennis was raised on Sandy Bay First Nation By loving parents. At a young age he ventured out to start his life, He became a father to three, and again to two. Dennis had a big heart and was a loving father, grandfather, brother, Uncle, cousin, and friend. He was strict but had the best intentions, he had a lot to teach and a lot of wisdom, He had experienced ups and downs during his life that led him to live the traditional way, for many years he had done this and help and met many people. Dennis was always smiling and joking around, had good humor. He was protective of family and friends, he held dear to his heart. Dennis will be Greatly missed; he was loved by all who knew him.
