Denise Lynn MacNeil of Walpole Island First Nation passed away peacefully at the CKHA in Chatham on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at the age of 66. Born in Nova Scotia, Denise was the daughter of the late Daniel Ross & Doris Valerie (Redden) MacNeil. Beloved wife of Jeff Thomas. Loving mother of Melissa Thomas (Brett Black-Plume) and Phoenix Thomas. Sister of Dan, Della, Diane, Debra, Dwight, Dallas, Donald, Doug, Daryl and David. Many patrons will remember Denise from the Riviera, Sam’s Hotel and the Glass Worker’s Union Hall. Family and friends are invited for visitation at the Walpole Island Sports Complex from 11am until 6pm on Tuesday, November 30 The funeral service will be held at 1 PM Wednesday. Cremation to follow.
