1932-2021
Délia Maillet, 88, of Bouctouche and formerly of
Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, passed away peacefully at the Stella Maris de
Kent Hospital, Sainte-Anne-de-Kent on Saturday February 27, 2021. She
was married to the late Léo-Paul Maillet (2008). Born in
Bouctouche, she was the daughter of the late William and the late
Régina (Bastarache) LeBlanc.
She will be sadly missed by her eight children; Léola Maillet
Léger (Georges) of Bouctouche, Géraldine LeBlanc
(Alphée) of Saint–Joseph-de-Kent, Annette Maillet (René
Richard) of Saint-Antoine, Andréa Carroll (Rony) of Lakeville,
Lucille Boucher (Roger) of Notre-Dame, Jean-Paul (Rosa) of
Saint-Joseph-de-Kent, Raymond, Guy (Marina) of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent,
her seven grandchildren; Rémi, Nadine, Mireille, Annick,
Jérémie, Anika and Parise as well as four great
grandchildren; Annabelle, Chanelle, Chloé and Emma. She also
leaves to mourn her two sisters; Sr Géraldine LeBlanc n.d.s.c. of
Moncton, Marie Allain of Dieppe and one brother; Joseph (Irma) of
Saint-Joseph-de-Kent and several nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by three sisters; Geneviève, Ida, Laudia and
three brothers; Léo, Ovila and Noël.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic restrictions, there will be a private
visitation and a private funeral service at a later date. Interment
will be in the Sainte-Marie-de-Kent parish cemetery in the
spring.
Funeral arrangements are in the professionals care of Maillet Funeral
Home, Bouctouche.
