It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Dean Gary McCallum, late of Sandy Bay, SK on August 13th, 2021, at the age of 54 years. Dean will be lovingly remembered by his wife Gwen; his children Naomi, Kelly (Noel), Corey (Wynonna), Zena (Dallas), Dawson; his grandchildren Kaeanne, Rihanna, Alyssa, Dihanna, Gilbert, Kayde, Keily, Wayde, Addisyn, Wrenlee, Dean, Brooklynn, Braelynn, & Dallas JR; his mother Rose McCallum; his siblings Sheila (Gerald), John (Cheryl), Sandra (Davey), Terri, Pauline, & Warren; his brothers-in-law Gilbert JR (Tara) & Horace. Dean & Gwen had 47 amazing & beautiful/handsome nieces & nephews together. Dean was predeceased by his grandson Darnell JR.; his son-in-law Darnell SR.; his father John McCallum SR.; his brother Leroy; his nieces Shayla & Billy Dawn; his adopted son Gary “Grub” Morin; his father-in-law and mother-in-law Gilbert & Marie Rose Bear; his brothers-in-law Gordie; & his sister-in-law Mabel. A Visitation will be held on Monday, August 16th, 2021, at 11 AM at MacKenzie Chapel in Prince Albert, SK. A Wake Service will be commencing Monday, August 16th, 2021, at MPB Building in Sandy Bay, SK. On Tuesday, August 17th, 2021, A Funeral Service will be at 11 AM at Our Lady of Seven Sorrows in Sandy Bay, SK. The Officiant will be Father Heinner Paucar Cotrina. Dean’s Honourary Pallbearers are all those who shared in Dean’s life. Dean’s Pallbearers are Kelly, Corey, Dallas, Garrett, Gilbert Colomb, Leroy Bear, Gilbert Dumas, all Dean’s nephews, & John McCallum JR. The Interment will take place at Sandy Bay Cemetery in Sandy Bay, SK. Condolences can be sent to the family on our website at www.mackenziechapel.ca.
