Obituary
It is with broken hearts the family of Dawson Lawrence Rideout, announces his tragic passing which occurred on September 19, 2021, at the IWK Children’s Hospital. Born in Saint John, on June 21, 2019, he is the beloved son of Telania Daley-Kelly and Austin Rideout.
He was a very energetic boy that enjoyed his cereal anytime of the day. He loved everything Blues Clues, Paw Patrol and his favorite night time book, Baby Bear Sees Blue. He was a true Mama’s and Nanna’s boy and adored his Grumpy. He will be dearly missed by his special cousins and best friend Charlotte.
Besides his parents he is survived by his sister Olivia Rose, his grandparents; Pheobe and Chris Mullin, Charles Kelly, great-grandmothers; Wendy Medford Daley, and Mary Mullin, great-great grandmother Joyce Medford, and honorary grandmother Patti Hoyt; aunts; Makayla, Taylor, Krista, Racheal, Lauren, Jannelta, Caitilin, and Tammy, uncles; Sean, Duane, Smiley, Allan and Justin, special cousins; Jenny, Emmett, Charlotte, Sebastian, Mya and Ivy.
He was predeceased by his great-grandfather Gary Knox and great-great grandfather Eyre Medford.
Arrangements are under the care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424), from where visitation will be held on Monday, September 27 from 4-8pm. His funeral service will be held from the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, September 28 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery.

Due to COVID-19 health measures placed on indoor gatherings, all those 12 and older attending visitation and service will be required to wear masks, show proof of vaccination and a piece of government issued ID.
