Dawn Marie McArthur
January 18, 1960 – April 3, 2021
Dawn McArthur of Hiawatha, previously of Simcoe passed away suddenly at St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto on April 3, 2021 at 61 years of age. Loving mother of Jennifer McKenzie (Mike), beloved Nana of Robert Karnes (Harmony), cherished sister of Mandy Wingrove and Scot McArthur (Tracey). Dear daughter of the late Barb and Dave McArthur. Dawn will be greatly missed by her nieces and nephew, grand-niece and nephews, many other family members and by all who knew and loved her. Special thanks to Mike Soucie.
After more than 30 years in Real Estate Administration Dawn courageously followed her heart, graduated from Oxford College in 2019 and became a Personal Support Worker at Lakefield Extendicare in Peterborough. A profession that filled her with great joy and that her family and friends were truly proud of. Dawn held many offices of Mercer Chapter #156, O.E.S including Worthy Matron and Past Matron, was a proud member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #79 and was actively involved in her community.
As per her wishes, Dawn will be cremated with a ceremony to be held at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to the Ferris Funeral Home, 214 Norfolk St. S., Simcoe. (519-426-1314)

Having lived life fearlessly, to the fullest and accomplishing much in her short time, Dawn is an example to us all. Her light will shine on.
