Davis – Allen Ernest, age 93, of Mersey Point, Queens County, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 28, 2021, in Queens General Hospital, Liverpool.
Born in Liverpool, he was a son of the late Ernest and Margaret (Jollimore) Davis.
Allen was a very skilled auto body mechanic, starting at the young age of 15. Over the years he was employed at a number of different garages, retiring from T&C Pontiac and Chevrolet at the age of 64. Allen loved the outdoors. He enjoyed cutting wood, gardening and working on his hobby farm in his younger days. Above all else, he was most passionate about his family and spending time with them.
He is survived by a daughter, Linda (Richard) Taylor of Milton; a son, Gary (Marion) of Mersey Point; grandchildren; Jonathan (Rebecca) Davis, Colin (Meghan) Davis, Crystal (Cory) Lollis and Heather Smiley; great grandchildren, Winston and Ethan Davis.
He was predeceased by loving wife, Anita (Joudrey); sisters, Myrtle Osman, Mary Chandler, Catherine Lohnes and a brother, Jack Davis.
