David Shaffer 2021

It is with heavy hearts and
loving memories that we announce the passing of David Shaffer (81) of
Berry Mills on Tuesday, July 13, 2021. David fought a valiant battle
with cancer.
He was predeceased by his
parents, Clifford & Ida Shaffer, Berry Mills, and is survived
by his sister Jeannie Taylor (Bryan), Berry Mills, his three
daughters, Pamela Butler (Shawn), London Ontario, Paula Graves
(Craig), Berry Mills and Patti Shaffer (Gerry), Berry Mills;
grandchildren, Ashley Praill (Tom), Corey Butler (Bethany), Lauren
Butler (Matt), Devin Short (Chris), Carley DeMarco (Nick), Mackenzie

David had great passion and
love for his family and had an amazing sense of humor that kept all
who knew him in laughter. David worked for many years in the
automotive industry before taking courses at the Police Academy at
Holland College and in New Brunswick before acquiring the job of
Deputy Sherriff and Coroner. During this time and after retirement he
was an avid dog lover and breeder.
We would like to thank his
Home Caregivers and the nursing staff on the 5th floor of the Moncton
City Hospital for taking such good care of our father. Their
compassion, professionalism and willingness to accommodate us in these
trying times were greatly appreciated by his
girls.
There will be no visitation or
funeral services by request of David, cremation has been arranged by
Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton
