Peacefully passed away on Monday, November 29th, 2021 after a short illness, at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, at the age of 82, surrounded by loved ones. Dave had made his home in recent years in Durham Region, but he will always call Brady Lake in Haliburton County his home. Dave is survived by his daughters Sheryl Terzo, Debbie Phillips and her husband George, and Sue Serrano, his beloved grandchildren Natasha Terzo, Christian Serrano, Stephen Phillips and his wife Kayla, and Mikayla Terzo and last but not least, the apple of his eyes, his great-granddaughters Serena and Avereigh. Predeceased by his first wife Dora Hayes.
Dave was a proud member of the Metropolitan Toronto Police Service for 29 years. He will be missed by all who knew him.
A Celebration of His Life will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2021 from 2-4 p.m. at the Armstrong Funeral Home (124 King St. E., Oshawa). All attendees must be double vaccinated and will be required to show proof of vaccination and identification. Masks are mandatory. Registration for contact tracing is required.
