On Monday, August 23rd, 2021, David Erik Loa passed away peacefully at home with his wife by his side. David was born January 29, 1937 to Frank and Lyla (Bradley) Loa and was a longtime resident of Ottawa. David is survived by his loving wife, Judith (Brophy) and step-children Geoff Millen (Heather) and Andrea Tunney (Brant). David was a devoted Grampy to Kyle, Ryan, and Alyssa Millen, and Kyla, Patrick and Liam Tunney. After a 36 year career with Computing Devices of Canada, Dave retired to spend summers at the cottage, enjoy time with his family and take long walks with Judy and Molly. David will always be known for his great sense of humour, as well as his loving and caring ways. Dave was passionate about gardening, history and enjoyed a lifetime of classical music with a preference for the Baroque period. As per Dave’s wishes the family will have a private graveside service . Donations in memory of David may be made to the Ottawa Humane Society.
