The death occurred peacefully at home surrounded by his loving wife Barb, furry friends Snowball and Casey and special angels Dr. Malone and Allison on Sunday, December 12, 2021 of Daniel “Danny” John Callahan of Selkirk, PE. He is fondly remembered by the extended MacAulay family, U.S. cousins and special longtime friends off island. Predeceased by his parents Bill and Eileen Callahan of Ottawa and mother and father-in-law Hubie and Helen MacAulay of the Souris Line Road, PE.
Resting at Dingwell Funeral Home, where there will be no visitation by personal request. A funeral mass by invitation only will be celebrated at the St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in Souris with interment to follow in the church cemetery and St. George’s Roman Catholic Church Cemetery, Ottawa. As an expression of sympathy, online donations to the PEI Humane Society or PEI Cancer Society would be appreciated.
