Daniel Cote Tuesday March 16th 2021

Cote, Daniel George – With his loving family by his side, Daniel Cote of Cobalt, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2021 at the age of 83.
Survived by his children, John (Brenda), Sue, Wendy (Mark). He will be lovingly remembered by grandchildren Amanda (Jordan), Steven, Owen, Ryan; great grandchildren Ryleigh, Brynn and Dax; and many nieces and nephews. Dan was predeceased by his wife Linda, his parents Damian Joseph Dan Cote and Marie Albertine Cote and his sister Anita Ladouceur.
Dan was a kind, gentle, caring man who loved his family and community very much. He volunteered and dedicate many years to Cobalt Town Council, the Cobalt Lions Club, Knights of Columbus, Legion, and the School Boards. During his career at Sherman Mine, he forged many life long friendships. In his retirement years, he loved nothing more then traveling across the country side with dear friends, whether to visit his grandchildren out west or panning for gold in the Yukon. His adventures were some of his most vivid and treasured memories.
As per his wishes, cremation has taken place at the Lakeview Crematorium, Haileybury. A graveside service will be held in the summer. Memorial contributions to the Temiskaming Foundation under the Linda Cote Bursary would be greatly appreciated .Condolences and contributions may be left at www.buffamleveille.com.
