It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Robert Goobie on September 28th, 2021 at 81 years of age.
Bob is survived by his loving wife Doris nee Buckle (Gellately), daughters Karen Lahey, Mount Pearl and Robyn Goobie, Norfolk, Virginia; grandsons Ryan and Kyle Williams and their father Mike Williams; brother Gordon (Gloria); sisters Carol Ann Smith, Donna (John) Gover and Barbara Pollock; sisters-in-law Edith (Raymond) Gingras of Vermont; Genevieve Pickett, ON; brothers-in-law Jim Buckle (Libby), ON; Ron Buckle (Daphne) ON; Joe Buckle, ON.
Predeceased by his parents Donald and Mercedes Goobie; brothers-in-law Bill Smith and Charlie Pollock; son-in-law Garry Lahey; sister-in-law Joan Buckle.
Cremation has taken place. Due to COVID-19 restrictions a private service will be held at Caul’s Funeral Home Chapel.
Special thank you to Dr. Jennifer LeGrow, Dr. Dawn Armstrong and the Cancer Care Team at the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Centre, Palliative Care Team and the Community Health Nurses.
