It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Craig Marshall of Burin announces his passing. Craig passed away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin on Friday, April 9th, 2021, at the age of 49. Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are his wife of 14 years, Shantel; sons Dylan McGuire and Gavin Marshall; daughter Skyler Marshall; parents Byron & Pauline Marshall; parents-in-law Henry & Marlene Savoury; sisters-in-law Katrina Price and family, Tracy Anstey and family; aunts and uncles, cousins, plus a large circle of extended family and friends and loyal furry friends, Lola and Harley. Craig was predeceased by grandparents Joseph & Annie Marshall, Austin & Gladys Whittle.
The Marshall Family will be accepting visitors at Wiseman’s Funeral Home – Burin on Monday, April 12th, 2021 from 10:00am to 9:00pm. Please note: Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions this will be a walk through visitation with a maximum of 50 people in the building at one time. Everyone is asked to sign the contact tracing sheet upon entering the building and masks are required. Please note that there is no food permitted in the funeral home.
Private Family Funeral Service will take place at Wiseman’s Funeral Home – Burin on Tuesday, April 13th, 2021 at 11:00am.
Inurnment to follow at Garnish United Church at a later time.
No flowers by request. In Craig’s memory donations may be made to the Marshall Family.
The Marshall family would like to extend sincere thanks to Pastor Jamie Warren; Aunts Marilyn Marshall Myles & Irene Power; cousin Joanne Myles; friends, Shawn & Lisa, Scott & Heather, Tina, Jerome & Vanessa; nurse Bill Dunn, Dr. Omar and the countless BPHCC Staff, who all went above and beyond over the many years of Craig’s illness.
