A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered. While saddened by our great loss, we have great peace knowing she dances the streets of gold with the King of Kings. On Monday, December 27, 2021, at Afton Park Place, Cornelia Duister went to be with her Lord and Saviour at the age of 85. Beloved wife of Leo Duister. Loving mother of Johanna (Doug) Morgan, Len Duister, Linda (Micheal) Smiley, Helen (Paul) Dunn, David (Michelle) Duister. Cherished grandmother of many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Carla (the late Clarence) Nap. Predeceased by her parents Gerrit and Johanna Riezebos and by her brother Bill Riezebos. Family and friends will be received at Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Sunday, January 2, 2022, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Due to COVID restrictions, those who wish to attend the visitation must sign up: A funeral service will be held at Bethel Pentecostal Church, 1565 London Line, Sarnia, on Monday, January 3, 2022, at 2:00 p.m., with visitation being held from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the church. Those who wish to attend services at the church must sign up at Sympathy may be expressed through donations to Lakeshore Community Church (cheques only at the funeral home please).
