Into the presence of God’s beautiful garden, Colleen Callegari passed away at the age of 74 on December 7, 2021 with her loving family by her side. Colleen is predeceased by her husband John Callegari (1991). Colleen was born in Roseville, Michigan to Emanuel and Anna Vella. Dearest and devoted mother of Edward, and Michelle (Chris Romano). Cherished grandmother of Caden Callegari. Dear sister-in-law of Mario Callegari, and forever remembered by her extended family in Windsor, USA, England and Italy. Lovingly remembered by her close friends, Bianca and Betta, and their families.
Foremost, Colleen was dedicated to her family and friends. She was the partner of the family business for 20 years, then retiring after 22 years of service with the City of Windsor Parks & Recreation.
If you so desire, donations to Ronald McDonald House would be appreciated by the family.
Face coverings and reservations are required to attend visitation on Sunday, December 12, 2021 from 3:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m.
Parish prayers Sunday at 7:00 p.m. at Families First, South Windsor, 3260 Dougall Ave. (519-969-5841). Separate reservations are required to attend the Funeral Mass on Monday, December 13, 2021 at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 4401 Mt. Royal Drive. You may reserve a spot for visitation or a seat for the Mass at www.familiesfirst.ca or by calling the funeral home directly.
There will be a livestream of the Funeral Mass for Colleen. A link for the livestream will be available here on Monday, December 13, 2021.
Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
