Obituary of Colin Lewis Currie
CURRIE, Colin Lewis – age 60 of Enfield, passed away peacefully on November 25, 2021 in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Halifax, he was a son of Deen O’Neill and the late Arthur Currie.
Colin enjoyed his family and especially loved spending time with his grandchildren. He spent many hours tinkering with computers; technology was his passion. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his wife, Natalie Giffen; children, Sara Ashley, P.E.I. and Andrew Currie, Texas; grandchildren, Raella Ashley, Zakkary Ashley, Oliver Cornish, Ethan Currie, Aaron Currie; siblings, Vera (Keith) Carver, Enfield; Mark (Kim) Currie, Enfield; Ian (Terry) Currie, Enfield; Heather Shreenan, Enfield; Ann Marie Currie, BC.
Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie. A private graveside service will take place.
The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the staff at Colchester East Hants Health Centre for making Colin’s last days as comfortable as possible.
Donations in Colin’s memory may be made to The Canadian Cancer Society.
