CLARKSON, Colin John
Feb. 14, 1956 – Nov. 7, 2021
Passed away peacefully due to Cancer at Cambridge Country Manor at the age of 65, early Sunday, November 7th.
Beloved son of the late William H. Clarkson (2000) and Hilda M. Clarkson (2015); cherished brother of Marjorie (James) of Barrie, and Alistair of Scarborough.
Although born in Montreal, Colin’s education was achieved in Scarborough at Maryvale P.S. and Wexford C.I. Colin started his varied working life with the Toronto Star. Colin moved to Cambridge with our retired parents in the 1990’s, becoming a driver for the Grand River Transit, and before that with Shantz School buses.
As a longtime resident of Cambridge, Colin enjoyed participating in various community charity events, along with his music, book and DVD collections.
At Colin’s request cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or service. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Lounsbury Funeral Home, Cambridge.
Memorial donations may be made to Cambridge Memorial Hospital Foundation, Hamilton Health Sciences Foundation, or a charity of your choice.
