Obituary of Claude Allen Acker
It is with deep sadness that the family of Claude Allen Acker announce his passing, which occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital after a brief illness, on June 19, 2021.
Claude was born in Caledonia, Nova Scotia in 1952 and was the son of the late L. Ellot and Jean (Trimper) Acker.
Claude is survived by his wife, Debby (Carter); his children, Charity (John) Brown of Ontario, Jason of Alberta and Alice (Robert) Agyekum of New Brunswick; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother, Robert (Mary) Acker of Delaware and sister, Ruby (Howard) Fraser of Nova Scotia.
At Claude’s request there will be no visitation. Following cremation, a memorial service will take place at a later date. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424).
For those who wish, remembrances may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
