Cindee Lee McKinnon Suitor Thursday September 30th 2021

Cindee Lee McKinnon (Suitor) was called home, early Thursday morning at Margaret Bahen Hospice in Newmarket. Ontario. She passed away peacefully, her sister Susan Micks holding her hand, as she took her last breaths and her soul was set free.
Born May 25, 1960 in Ingersoll Ontario, she was the daughter of the late Rev. D Bruce Suitor and Donna Louise Suitor (Clark).
Cindee married George Collins McKinnon (deceased) in 1981. Cindee and George built a beautiful life together surrounded by family and friends and raised 2 loving children. Beloved mother of Jade McKinnon (Erik Rotolo) and Collin Mckinnon (Valerie Goncalves).
Proud Nana of Mia and Anthony (Jade) and Paris, Isla and Freyja (Collin). Cindee never passed up an opportunity to spend time with or brag about her grandbabies.
Sister and best friend of Susan Micks (Kerry) and Sally Johnston (Peter).
Cindee’s greatest pride were her children and grandchildren and next to that her successful hair salon, The McKinnon House, which she owned for over 20 years in Newmarket, Ontario. Cindee was a well-known business owner in the community, she loved to make others feel beautiful inside and out. Her enthusiasm, positive energy and sense of humor radiated onto everyone who knew her. She loved to travel with her family and friends and always found beauty in the simple joys of life. Cindee was a loving spirit, ‘the glass is half full’ kind of woman who always had the purest intentions for those around her. Cindee always warmed your heart in her presence and will be terribly missed by her close family, friends, colleagues and clients.
Cindee’s family would like to express their extreme gratitude to Margaret Bahen Hospice for their gentle and loving care during her stay. In lieu of flowers the family is asking that donations be made in Cindee’s name to Margaret Bahen Hospice, if desired.
With respect to Cindees last wishes a private celebration of life will be held at a later date for immediate family.
Miss me but Let Me Go – Author Unknown
When I come to the end of the road
And the sun has set for me
I want no rites in a gloom filled room
Why cry for a soul set free?
Miss me a little, but not for long
And not with your head bowed low
Remember the love that once we shared
Miss me, but let me go.
For this is a journey we all must take
And each must go alone.
It’s all part of the master plan
A step on the road to home.
When you are lonely and sick at heart
Go to the friends we know,
Laugh at the things we used to do
Miss me, but let me go.
