Christine Susan

Christine Susan Kobold 2021

Sue passed away peacefully at her home in Brighton, July 9, 2021, at the age of 79. Sue was born in Otley England, to the late Marion (nee Stott) and Harold Dean. She is survived by her sister Jocelyn Lavagnilio (Antonio) of Cookham England. Her brother Peter Dean (Noreen) of Harrogate, England and sister Mary Bancroft (Roger) of Knaresborough, England.
Sue immigrated to Canada, on her own at the age of 18, to Fort Qu’Appelle, Sask, where she worked at the tuberculosis sanatorium, before moving to Toronto to work at Siemens Dental. It was here she met her loving late husband George Kobold. They settled in Brighton where Sue worked at both Stedmans and Rundle’s Roadside Market. Then in the late 80’s, after vacationing in British Columbia, Sue and George moved to Penticton, where she worked at Art Knapp’s Plantland. In 2008, Sue moved back to Brighton to retire and enjoy her two passions in life, gardening and travel.
She will be sadly missed by her family and friends, but mostly by her daughter Chris, and son in law Rob Constable and grandchildren: Rick, Randy, Taylor and Nicole.
Special thanks to Dr. MacIntryre, the PD Dialysis unit Kingston, Care partners PSW’s, Brighton Pharmachoice staff and the VON nurses.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Christine Susan
