Christine May Morton Barton 2021

Christine May Morton (nee Barton) passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family at Hospice House, Fredericton on Monday December 13, 2021 at the age of 72 years. Christine was born in Minto, NB on November 1, 1949 daughter of the late Alyre and Nora (Cormier) Gauthier.
Christine is survived by her children, Terrilynn (Kevin) Guislain and Wayne Morton; chosen son Myles (Jenn) Morton; granddaughter, Savannah (Shawn) Kelly; grandsons, Bradley and Matthew Guislain; chosen grandchildren Baylee and Hunter Morton; brother Ralph (Nancy) Barton and sister Irene Barton; many nieces, nephews and wonderful friends.
Predeceased by her husband Gary in 2016 and her brother Clarence Barton.
Family will receive comfort at the Chipman Funeral Home & Crematorium on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. A graveside celebration of Christine’s life will be held in the spring at the Cumberland Bay Baptist Church Cemetery.
Donations in memory of Christine made to the Hospice House, Fredericton would be appreciated by the family.

NOTICE: With the current new COVID-19 restrictions on indoor gatherings all those over 12 who attend will be required to wear a mask and show proof of vaccination and a piece of government issued ID for the Visitation with a maximum number of 25 guests at one time.
