Charlotte Margaret MacLean, age 78, of Creignish passed away peacefully in St. Martha’s Hospital on December 23, 2021. She was a daughter of the late Dan C. MacDonald and Sarah MacDonald.
Charlotte was a loving wife and mother. Charlotte and her late husband, John Angus shared 51 years of love, happiness and contentment. After her marriage, Charlotte lived in Sept-Iles, Quebec; returning back to Creignish in October of 1985.
Charlotte loved the simple things in life such as the return of the hummingbirds each spring. She was a faithful member of Stella Maris Parish and the ladies auxiliary and also collected for the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
Charlotte is survived by her son, Mike; sisters in law, Velma and Catherine MacDonald and many nieces and nephews.
Charlotte was predeceased by her loving husband, John Angus; her parents; sisters, Flora (Edward Peckham); Mary (William Jardine); brothers, Jim; Murdock; Alexander; Angus; Frank; half brothers, John Duncan and Joseph Ninian; nieces, Connie Peckham and Cheryl Noseworthy; nephews, David and A.J. MacDonald.
Visitation will be held on December 28, 2021 from 2-4 pm at Green’s Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury. Funeral mass will be held on December 29, 2021 at 11am from Stella Maris Church, Creignish; Father Barrett Clare-Johnson presiding. Burial will be at a later date. Covid 19 Protocol will be in effect. Memorial Donations may be made to Stella Maris Parish. Arrangements are entrusted to Green’s Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury.
