ALLEN, Charlotte Edna
After a long period of declining health, Charlotte Allen died peacefully, at Strathcona Long Term Care, Mount Forest, on Sunday, December 12, 2021. She was 81 years old. Charlotte is survived by her daughter Marlene Long (Greg) of Shelburne; Four grandchildren: Matthew, Jeffery, Rebecca and Bradley; Three great-grandchildren: Aurora, Grayson, Rosalyn and a baby girl on the way! She was predeceased by her husband Mervin Allen (1940-2007) and her son Carl Allen (1961-2011). Retired after a 37-year career driving school buses, first in Shelburne then in the Chisholm and Powassan area, “Mrs. Allen” will be fondly remembered by a generation of students. Cremation has taken place. A graveside service in spring 2022 will be announced.
