October 9, 1923 -November 19, 2021
It is with sadness the family announce that the death of Charles Edward Dumontier occurred on November 19, 2021 at his residence in Saskatoon.
Son, Brother, Carpenter, Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather. Charles was born at St.Paul’s hospital in Saskatoon on October 9, 1923 to Charles Edward Dumontier and Agasta Poliquin, he was raised in Viscount, SK before taking off to join the Royal Canadian Air Force. He leaves behind his five children, Gerald (Jean), Francis (Cecilia), Linda (James), Dennis (Margaret), Patricia (Nunzio); his 17 grandchildren, Mark, Emily, Darrel, Maria, Kevin, Jason, Stephen, Cristina, Jessie, Shanna, Nicole, Chelsea, Mitchell, Gabriel, Rosario, Dante and Emilio; and his 8 great grandchildren. He is predeceased by his parents, brothers, sisters, his wife Gertrude (Reineke) and his daughter-in-law Rose Marie.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Co-Cathedral on Thursday November 25, 2021 at 10:00 am. Rite of Committal will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. The Service will be livestreamed and can be accessed at the on-line link: youtu.be/D2j4PGVc-50
