It is with great sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of Cathy DiPenta on Saturday, December 11, 2021, at her residence.
Born May 4, 1955, in Sydney, she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Dorothy (Power) Redquest.
Cathy was the office manager at the Canadian Tire Store in Sydney.
She is survived by her husband, Nick; son, Mike (Jennifer), Prime Brook; sisters, Theresa Redquest, Sydney and Marguerite (Fred) Tighe, Sydney; brothers, Kenny and Rannie, both of Sydney; grandchildren, Breton and Charlee; several nieces and nephews; and the Ratchford and Isaac families.
A private family service will be held. Interment will take place in Resurrection Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Diabetes Association.
