COUSENS, Catherine Ann (McGregor) 1931-2021
Cathy passed away peacefully, on February 7, 2021.
Predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Arthur Cousens. She
will be greatly missed by her children Nancy (Greg), Gary (Elizabeth)
and Sharon (Steven); her grandchildren Victoria (Bruce), Jamie
(Nikki), Brittany (Justin) and Morgan (Wayne); and her great
grandchildren Charlotte, Blake, Addilyn, Zachary and Jordan. The last
several years were happily spent in the company of her partner, Joe
Whiteley, at the Village by the Arboretum. Cathy expressed many times
what a wonderful life she has had and how fortunate she was to have
had all the family and friends that brought so much
joy.
Heartfelt thanks to Norfolk Manor for the care and support
they gave Cathy in the last few months of her life as well as to the
kind staff on 5 West at the Guelph General Hospital.
Cremation has taken place and due to COVID 19 restrictions,
a celebration of Cathy’s life will take place at a later
date. In lieu of flowers, we would ask that a donation be
made in memory of Cathy and her beloved dog, Klink, to the Canadian
Dachshund Rescue by following this link
