Carolyn Joanne McEachern Briscoe Friday August 27th 2021

It is with deep sadness that our family announces the peaceful passing of Carolyn at Extendicare Falconbridge on August 27, 2021 following a lengthy illness. She is survived by Rodger, her loving husband of 65 years, son Cameron (Julie) and grandsons Cameron and Graeme, daughter Tina (James) and grand stepsons Nathan and Michael, all residing in Toronto. She is predeceased by her daughter Catherine and parents Mahlon and Helen Briscoe, sisters Elaine (Bain), Sally (Woods) and Jane (Briscoe). She is survived by her brother Ronald Briscoe of Maple Ridge B.C.
Carolyn graduated from Sudbury High School in 1951 and taught with her father at the Sudbury Business College. She continued her love of teaching at Cambrian College for several years. She loved spending summers at the family camp on Basswood Lake in Huron Shores and skating with “the girls” in the winter months.
Cremation has taken place and the ashes will be interred at Pine Grove Cemetery in Thessalon, Ontario. In lieu of donations, please keep your loving thoughts and memories of Carolyn close to heart. (Arrangements entrusted to the Lougheed Funeral Home)
