Carol Ann Burke of Kingsville passed away on December 27th, 2021, in the comfort of the Erie Shores Hospice in Leamington. Carol was loved; she touched and inspired so many people with her sharp wit and positive attitude coping with her lengthy battle with Lung Cancer.
Carol was the first born to Harvey and Edna Eves (nee Ewing) of Wallaceburg. Carol is survived by 2 sons, Scott Burke (Wendy) and Darren Burke; 3 Grandchildren, Mat Stewart, Megan Stewart and Nathan Burke. She had close relations with all her surviving family, brothers Ernest Eves (Ingrid), Thomas Eves (Carol), Michael Eves (Tracy) and sisters Patricia Brubacher (Merle) and Bonnie Lazaruk (Dwayne Ouchar); 20 loving nieces and nephews and a host of many supportive friends.
She was part of the community, working for Keepsakes Plants (Yoder Greenhouses), volunteering at concerts and many special events.
A special thanks to the doctors, staff and volunteers at Erie Shores Hospice for their support and the love they share in their care. Carol has asked that family and friends come together for a Celebration of Life gathering to be announced at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Kendrick Funeral Home, Kingsville.
