1928-2021
Carl Ralph White passed away at the Notre Dame Bay Memorial
Health Centre, Twillingate on Sunday, April 18, 2021 at the age of 92
years old.
Carl married Marjorie Churchill in 1954 and together they
raised four children. He was a hardworking man and a good provider for
his family. Carl ran a successful taxi service as well as
owning his own construction company for many years.
Carl’s talent for being a top notch Mechanic landed him a
job with the Department of Highways for over 25 years where he retired
with a certificate of Honour.
He was predeceased by: wife Marjorie; parents Elisus and
Maude White; as well as a number of brothers and sisters; and
half-brothers and half-sisters.
Carl leaves with many loving memories; daughter Kathy (David)
Fudge; sons: David (Rainy), Bryan and Bruce (Bonny); grandchildren:
Christopher, Corey, Jamie, Jason, Davin, Jerry, Jeela, Janelle,
Jordan, Jodana, Alex, Zach, Skyler, Shondra, and Julian; 18
great-grandchildren; home support workers: Elizabeth Earle
and Sheila Talbot; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews,
extended relatives and friends.
In light of the current Covid-19 restrictions, the health and
safety of our families and our community continues to be of highest
priority. At this time there will be a private funeral service from
Pentecostal Church, Twillingate on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at 2:00
PM.
As expressions of sympathy, donations in
Carl’s memory may be made to the Pentecostal Church Cemetery
Fund.
