Oderkirk, Carl Douglas, Sr. – age 71, Oxford Junction, passed away peacefully at his home on December 17, 2021. Born in Springhill, he was a son of the late Charles William and Norma Donna (Hines) Oderkirk, Sr. He is survived by his daughters, Christine (Grant); Theresa (Mark); Pamela (Chuck); Heather (Troy); LeeAnn (Ralph); Holly (Rick); Emma (Dar-rell); sons, Carl Jr. (Allison); Leslie; Frederick; sisters, Barbara (Percy); Cindy (Don); Carolynne (Stephen); Maxene (Gerald); Laura; brothers, Kenny; John (Terry); Michael (Wanda); Charles (Lisa); sister-in-law, Heather; brother-in-law, Bill; 15 grandchildren; and a large extended family. He was predeceased by his wife, Bonnie Jean; son, Steven; granddaughter, Kaeleigh; brothers, Donald, David; sisters, Sandra, Cheryl. Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. Wednesday, December 22, 2021 in MacDiarmid’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, 5075 Main Street, Oxford. Proof of dual vaccination and government issued ID are required to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations in Carl’s memory may be made to Thomson Cemetery or charity of your choice.
