Carl Leib Friday October 15th 2021

Passed away peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket, after a brief, courageous battle with cancer on Friday, October 15, 2021, at age 67 with his wife, Lisa, by his side.
Carl leaves behind his beloved wife, Lisa (nee Lake), of 28 years. Carl is survived by his sisters Arleen (Robert), Denise and brother Byron. Loving uncle to Cavan, Naomi, Emily (Mike) and Kate (Justin). Great uncle to Tyson, Hannah and Chloe. Dear son of the late Dr. Harold and Dorothy Leib.
Carl had various interests that kept him busy throughout his 67 years. He loved the outdoors being on his boat, cycling, walking his dog. Had a true passion for cars specifically Cadillacs. Carl was very creative as well, later in life took up painting – especially pet portraits, in June just finished building a beautiful, wooden model of The Bounty which he was very proud of completing. He also enjoyed doing home renovations along with his wife.
Special thanks to the caring staff at Southlake.
Carl will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He is at peace now after his illness.
In honour of his wishes, cremation will be done and there will be no funeral service.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in memory of Carl to the Canadian Cancer Society.
