CHARD: Calvin “Bruce”
At his home surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, December 28, 2021. Bruce Chard at the age of 69. Son of the late William Howard (Baldy) and Dorothy Chard. Bruce shared 48 loving years of marriage with his beloved wife Judy (Blair). Bruce was the father of 6 children: Tabatha Bates, Penny Toms (Tim), Dawn McConkey (Craig), Heidi Del Mastro (Jason), Hope Chard (Dave Hoy) and Jesse Chard. Proudest grandpa (PAPA) of 13 grandchildren: Jaden, Tiarah, Nathan, Cole, Brady, Jada, Hunter, Beau, Taylor, Reagen, Mason, Weston (WesLon) and Landon. Survived by siblings Luella, Joe, Jimmy and Adam and predeceased by brothers Albert and Billy. Near the end of Bruce’s journey, he really connected to Frosty and Buddy. The family will receive friends by appointment only (613)-478-3535 at the McConnell Funeral Home, 137 Colborne St., Tweed on Friday, January 7, 2022 from 2-4 & 6-8pm. A private funeral service will be held in the Tweed Chapel on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 1:00p.m. A link to view a live stream of the service will be provided on this site/notice closer to service day. Spring Interment: White Lake Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the family would be most appreciated.
