Bunny Gurvey Monday December 20 2021

GURVEY, Bunny – It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that we share that Bunny (Beatrice) Gurvey passed away peacefully on December 20, 2021 at the incredible age of 96 years young. Four years ago, almost to the day, she was predeceased by her loving husband of almost 70 years, Gerry. Bunny’s memory will be forever cherished by her daughters Shelley, Melanie (Wayne) and Brenlee (Allen). She was the treasured Baba of Kelsey (Matt) and Mac (Jessica), Ilexa, Avery and Brady and precious Great-Baba to Sienna and Rory. She is lovingly remembered by her baby brother Zol Pinsk, and many, many extended family members and friends.
Bunny was gracious, elegant, brilliant and a life-long dedicated volunteer. She received many awards, accolades and commendations for her service to others.
Our heartfelt thanks to Carmela, Mark, Mae and Elena for their extraordinary loving care and companionship. Thank you to the amazing Dunfield staff where Bunny lived for the past decade. Our sincere gratitude to Dr. Walji, Dr. Cescon and the staff at Temmy Latner and Princess Margaret Hospital.
Donations in Bunny’s memory may be made to the Jewish Foundation of Manitoba to the Bunny & Gerry Gurvey Anniversary Fund which supports National Council of Jewish Women of Canada www.jewishfoundation.org (204-477-7520) or, The Mount Sinai Hospital Temmy Latner Centre for Palliative Care www.tlcpc.org (1-877-565-8555).
At this time there will be a private graveside funeral and private shiva. The funeral will have a livestream link.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Bunny Gurvey Monday December 20 2021..
