Bruneau has peacefully passed on December 19, 2021 with his loving family by his side. Loving husband to Gaetane Picard of 54 years and a retiree of Ford Motor Co.
Much loved father to Nicole Coallier (Francois), Christine Beaton (Brian), Paul Picard (Kristen), Paulette Banwell and Christopher Banwell. He will forever be remembered by his grandchildren Justin Banwell, Bryce Beaton, Taylor Banwell, Elora Beaton, Madison Picard, Payton Picard, Reegan Picard and great grandpa to Crew Broadwell (Taylor Banwell).
Brother to late Olivier Picard (late Francoise), late Roger Picard (late Rita), late Herve Picard (late Lorraine), late Aurele Picard (late Dorilda), late Rachelle Villeneuve (late Rolland), late Stella Perreault (late Aurele), Couronna Lessard (Robert Sr.), Dorilda Duval (late Alcide) and Diane Beaulne (late George Sr.)
Brother-in-law to Gaetan Belisle (Joan), Reina Belanger (Cleo), late Norbert (late Claudette).
He was a wonderful uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Bruneau was known for his kind heart, his sense of humour, his love for music and playing his guitars with his many friends and various band members. He cherished his family and friends very much and taught them many life lessons that will last a lifetime.
A celebration of life for Bruneau will be held at St. Jerome Church at 3739 Ypres Ave on Saturday January 29, 2021 at 10 am.
