Obituary of Brian MacLaren

Following a brief illness, Brian passed away at the Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital on Saturday evening, December 11, 2021. Donald Brian MacLaren of Dunrobin was 77. Beloved husband of the late Cindy Saucier (2018) and the late Clair Aileen Sheffield (2006). Dear brother of Alice Partridge (George) of Osoyoos, B.C. Son of the late Roy and Bessie (nee Penney) MacLaren, Brian was also predeceased by his brother, David MacLaren (Connie (Peter Garneau) of Arnprior) as well as sisters: Betty Badham (late James), Helen Garry and Penny Douglas (Bob of Whistler, B.C.). Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews and countless friends and former customers…many of whom he considered as family. Brian was a longtime dairy farmer in Dunrobin. He drove for Barr Bus Lines in Pakenham for many years. He was also a volunteer member of the Dunrobin Fire Department. He has left his mark and will be missed. Brian’s final care has been entrusted to the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior. Family and friends are invited to an informal drop-in to be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 616, 377 Allbirch Road, Constance Bay on Saturday afternoon, December 18th from 1 to 4 p.m. In memory, please consider a donation to the Arnprior Regional Health Foundation.
