Hartman, Brian
It is with great sadness that the family of Brian Hartman announces his passing on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at the age of 64, after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. Brian will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Tammy, and their 3 children: Marion (Gordy), Mike, and Robert. He will also be fondly remembered by his four grandchildren: Michael, Mariah, Lance, and Hailey.
Brian was predeceased by his parents, Douglas and Delores Hartman (née Gaede), and survived by his siblings, Terry (Christy) Hartman, Diane (Larry) Forler, and Tanya (Bill) Miller, as well as his cousin, Laurie Weber (née Harnock), with whom he was raised. Brian was much loved and will live on in the hearts of his many nieces, nephews, and cousins from Conestogo, Kitchener, and Waterloo.
Brian was always upbeat and he loved spending time in the sun with his friends and family, whether in Niagara Falls, Grand Bend, or at the Kitchener Market with Tammy on Saturday mornings. He was a long-time employee of Swenco Limited and was regarded highly by his peers and managers. Brian’s family would like to thank the company and owners for being so supportive of his and Tammy’s family over the years.
Funeral services will be held in memory of Brian on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home in Waterloo 617 King Street N, Waterloo (519-888-7700). Family and friends are invited to come together from 1-3 p.m. to remember the good times they shared with Brian over the years, and a prayer service will take place in the chapel at 3 p.m. For online condolences, to make a donation the Canadian Cancer Society and or to register for the visitation and funeral, please visit www.grahamgiddyfh.com.
