Clarke: Samuel Brian
Peacefully at the age of 72, on Sunday, December 12, 2021, at the Toronto General Hospital after a lengthy struggle with heart disease. Brian, dearly beloved husband of Heather and loving father of Desma (Jay) Sherren and Darla (Gary) Clayton. Devoted Papa of Gabriel, Seth, Eve, Trent, and Amarisa. Dear brother of Maureen (Ted) Ellis, Karen (Rob Hotston), Robert (Cathy), and Kathryn (Andrew) Gaskell. Son of the late Merle and Retta. Brian was active in the Taoist Tai Chi Society and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. A Celebration of Brian’s Life will be held in 2022. Donations in Brian’s memory to the Toronto General UHN Peter Munk Cardiac Centre would be appreciated by the family. Brian will be missed by the countless people whose lives he touched. The next time you get a chance to go fishing drown some dew worms for him and remember there’s a reason it’s called fishing and not catching.
