Obituary of Brent Strickland
Strickland, Brent of Aylmer passed away at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Monday, July 12, 2021 in his 87th year. Beloved husband of Bertha(Ens) Strickland. Dear father of Victor Strickland(Karen) of Aylmer and Valerie Strickland of Dallas, Texas. Loving grandfather of Eric and Julia(Karly). He will be missed by a number of nieces and nephews. Born in Beach Point, P.E.I on August 7, 1934, son of the late Victor and Hattie Jane (Jackson) Strickland. He was predeceased by brothers – Floyd, Clarence and Ambrose Strickland; sisters – Lucy MacNeil, Gloria Pottie and Mona Bowland. Brent was owner and operator of Strickland Bulldozing since 1963. He was a former member of the Aylmer Curling Club, the Malahide Fire Department #1 and he coached hockey. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, friends who wish to attend the visitation on Thursday, July 15th starting at 6:00 p.m. at the H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home can call the funeral home at (519 773 8400) to register. A private family funeral service will be held at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Friday, July 16, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. and can be viewed remotely on livestream. Cremation has taken place.
