Obituary
Brandee Kromm of Millarville, Alberta, passed on November 29, 2021, at the age of 45. She had battled cancer for several years. Brandee was born in Calgary, Alberta, and was predeceased by her parents Brian (Randy) and Maurine Kromm.
She will be lovingly remembered by her devoted husband Darryl Bruce, and her two precious gifts to the world, Randy and Clayton Bruce, stepdaughter Cheyenne Kuwahara (Steve) and grandchildren Levi and Seth. Stepson Shane Bruce, her brother Glenn Kromm, sister Joyce Enders (Dan), many nieces, nephews, a multitude of other family members and friends.
Brandee was a dedicated, mother, wife, sister, daughter, aunt, and friend. She was genuine, honest, fiercely loyal, and unapologetically herself. Brandee had a knack for telling it like it is and cared enough to tell the truth even if it wasn’t what you wanted to hear. Brandee’s strength never wavered in her support or love of her family and friends.
Brandee and Darryl didn’t just build a family wit their two lovely boys, they built a ranch, an equestrian facility, and a solace for so many of the other families that came into contact with them. Brandee was an active competitor with her horses, on her journey she had a great love for her horses, cattle, especially the calves and the people. Ranch Boss Brandee was well known for cussing and carrying on but backed it all with loads of love. We were all truly blessed to have had her touch our lives.
A celebration of Brandee’s life will be held at Hillside Acres on December 11th at 3:00pm. Please dress for outside, there will be a bonfire, and hockey on the pond providing the ice is ready. Brandee loved to spend time by the fire watching the boys play hockey on the pond even up to – 30, she was the shoveler, and ice keeper, she took great pride in what she could do with her Momboni flooding apparatus.
