Obituary of Bonnie Louise House
Passed away peacefully at her home on December 21, 2021 surrounded by the love of her husband and their three children, in her 79th year. Beloved wife of Arnold “Gary” House for 57 years. Loving mother of Randy (Sheri), Brenda Cunnington and Anita VanderWerf (Jarrod). Caring grandmother of Madison, Cora, Alexa, Isabelle, Jack, Katie, Ava and Dean. She is survived by her brothers Ted Climenhaga (Gloria), Jay Climenhaga (Patricia), and by her sister in-law Joanne Climenhaga. Predeceased by her parents Dale and Nelda Climenhaga, her brother David, and sister in-law Joan.
Bonnie’s utmost goals and priority in life was her family. She was a loving, supportive, and caring wife. Her children and grandchildren meant the world to her. She was always the voice of positivity and encouragement. Bonnie started her community service and involvement at a young age as she worked as a secretary to the Ontario Provincial Police in her beloved Crystal Beach. She then went on to work with Fleet Industries, Secretary to the manager at the Royal Bank, Teaching at Ridgeway and Crystal Beach High School, and retired as a Realtor for Niagara View.
Bonnie was an active supporter and member of Trinitylife Church in Sherkston. She expressed her strong faith in God each and every day in whatever she did and whoever she interacted with. In the midst of her fight with cancer in her final days, her strength in trusting Jesus Christ never wavered. We thank God for taking her Home mercifully to spend Christmas with Jesus this year and we look forward to one day, joining her again in His Awesome presence.
Cremation has taken place with arrangements entrusted to the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 179 Clarence Street, Port Colborne. A private family service will be held at Trinitylife Church in Sherkston, and a Celebration of Life ceremony will be held and announced at a later date.
