It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Blanche Bernadine Harnett of Lamaline announces her passing. Blanche passed away at the U.S. Memorial Health Centre in St. Lawrence on Monday, October 11th, 2021, at the age of 72.
Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are her husband William of 51 years; sons, Chris Harnett of St. Phillips, Dale Harnett (Catherine) of Pouch Cove; daughter, Tracey Hillier (Corey) of Torbay; sisters, Annie Benteau, Mary Donnelly; 6 grandchildren, Brandon, Brady, Emma, Maria, Morgan, Sarah; plus a large circle of extended relatives and friends.
Blanche was predeceased by parents, Sylvester & Theresa Fleming and sister, Cecilia.
The Harnett Family will be accepting visitors at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church on Allan’s Island on Thursday, October 14th, 2021 from 2:00 pm to 8:30 pm, with Family Service to follow. Please wear a face mask when entering the church and sign the contact tracing sheet that will be provided.
Church Funeral will take place at St. Elizabeth’s Roman Catholic Church, Lord’s Cove on Friday, October 15th, 2021 at 2:00 pm.
Inurnment to follow at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Cemetery, Allan’s Island.
In Blanche’s memory donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Society of Newfoundland & Labrador, 107-835 Topsail Road, Mount Pearl, NL A1N 3J6 or the St. Joseph’s Cemetery Fund, Allan’s Island.
